The Black Rock Garden Club holds fundraisers each year to support our many community gardening and beautification programs.

This year, through fundraising and grants the club hosted the first annual Arbor Day, helped develop the local school garden club, and planted nine trees for local homeowners.

A major fundraiser each fall involves the bulb sale. “Beautify Black Rock…buya buncha bulbs!” Bulbs from a local Bridgeport business, Colorblends, is held at Harborview Market. Colorblends bulbs are from Holland and the club hopes to develop interest in such plantings around the neighborhood.
